Rava pongal recipe is one of the best south Indian pongal recipe. We can use rava recipe for breakfast or dinner.
Ingredients
Husked green gram | : | 1 cup |
Rava (Semolina) | : | 2 cup |
Cumin | : | 2 tblspn |
Ginger | : | small piece |
Salt | : | to taste |
Chili | : | 2 count |
Curry Leaf | : | 2 stick |
Cashew | : | 25 grm |
Ghee | : | 50 grm |
Pepper | : | 2 tblspn |
Method : Fry green gram and cook with water such as 1:2 (green gram:water) ratio. Fry the rava and add 4 cups of water ( 1:2 ratio , 1 cup Rava : 2 cup of water), salt with green gram and mix it well.Heat the pan with ghee fry the cumin,pepper,curry leaf, cashew,chili. Mix with rava pongal and serve hot.
