    Dry Chicken



    Dry chicken preparation time takes around one hour because we are using slow cooking method (low flame).

    Ingredients
    Chicken : 1/2 Kg
    Onion : 1 sliced
    Red chili : 4
    Coconut : 2 big slices
    Turmeric powder : 1/2 tblspn
    Coriander Powder : 2 tblspn
    Green chili : 2 pieces
    Fennel Seeds : 1 tblspn
    Ginger and garlic : 1/4 cup
    Curry Leaf : 1 stick
    Salt : to taste
    Oil : 3 tblspn
    Cinnamon : 1
    Cardamom : 2
    Cloves : 3



    Method : Clean and wash the chicken pieces well and drain , apply turmeric powder kept a side. In a pan roast the fennel seeds,cinnamon,sliced onions,ginger and garlic in low flame. Grind the roasted ingredients along with coconut make a like paste. Keep the flame very low , heat oil in a pan add curry leaf,chopped onion,cloves, cardamom one by one fry it well. Add sliced green chili,turmeric powder,coriander powder,grounded paste stir it well till the raw smell goes off. Now add the chicken and salt to taste. Keep open the pan for 15 minutes, after add little bit of water and now close the pan. After 15 minutes remove the top and cook with open pan make until the chicken become dry. In between we have to keep on stirring  the chicken. Slowly the chicken become dry. Now add coriander leaf serve hot.
