Sardine fish is very famous in kerala. It's cost less expensive compare with other types fish. Using this fish they prepare very different recipes like gravy,cutlet,puddu (kerala style).
Ingredients
Sardine | : | 9 |
Onion | : | 1/4 cup |
Curry leaves (chopped) | : | 5 |
Salt | : | to taste |
Oil | : | for fry |
Ginger | : | small size |
Garlic | : | 5 pods |
Turmeric Powder | : | 1 tsp |
Red chili Powder | : | 1 tsp |
Cumin | : | 1 tsp |
Method : Clean the fish thoroughly. Apply turmeric powder in the fish. Grind the ginger, garlic, onion,curry leaves,salt,cumin seeds make like a paste. Now add chili powder with that paste. Apply the paste in to that fish thoroughly. Leave 1 hour until it get soak it well with masala paste. Heat the pan if oil is ready to get fry make sure the flame in low, now fry the fish for brown color comes. Serve hot the sardine fish fry , it suits with rice.
