Carrot halwa is quick and easy to prepare. Fresh carrot blend with milk and sugar gives rich texture.

Method :Clean the carrots and grate it well. Chop the cashew and almond nuts. In heavy bottom pan heat the ghee add grated carrots and saute for five minutes. Add milk, cardamom and cook on medium heat for five to six minutes or until the milk evaporates and the carrots are cooked. Add sugar mix it well, stir continuously add cashews, almond and raisins. Arrange halwa on a plate and drizzle with the dressing and serve hot.
