Ingredients
Small onion | : | 5 |
Tamarind | : | 1 lemon size |
Coriander Powder | : | 1/2 tsp |
Turmeric Powder | : | 1 tsp |
Red Chili Powder | : | 1 tsp |
Salt | : | to taste |
Gingelly Oil | : | 3 tsp |
Garlic | : | 10 |
Fenugreek | : | 1/2 tsp |
Aniseed | : | 1 tblspn |
Sambar Powder | : | 1 tblspn |
Method :Heat Oil in a pan add fenugreek, aniseed fry it well. Add onion,garlic,turmeric powder mix it well . Add red chili and coriander powder. Mean time prepare a thick formation of tamarind water. Add this water cook until are half done. Now add the sambar powder and salt cook for 20 minutes in low flame. Decorate with finely chopped coriander leaf and serve hot. It goes well with rice .
