    Nethili (Anchovy / White Bait) Fish recipe by chef dhamu

    Ingredients
    Tomato : 1
    Chili Powder : 2 tblspn
    Turmeric Powder : 1 tblspn
    Grounded Coconut : 4 big slices
    Nethili : 1/4 kg
    Onion : 1
    Ginger garlic paste : 1 tblspn
    Salt : to taste
    Curry Leaf : 1 stick
    Fennel : 10 gm
    Cinnamon : 1
    Cloves : 2
    Coriander leaf : 1 small cup
    Oil : 250ml
    Coriander Powder : 3 tblspn
    Tamarind water : 100 ml

    Method : Heat Oil in a pan add Fennel,cinnamon,cloves,curry leaf,chopped onion fry it well.Add ginger garlic paste,tomato,green chili,turmeric powder,coriander powder,chili powder fry it well till the raw smell goes off , add water , grounded coconut mix well . Add salt and nethili fish (Fish only need only 3 minutes for cook).Finally add tamarind water make it boil 1 minutes ,add chopped coriander leaf. Nethili is ready and serve hot.
